Margaret
Leighton Badger '35 ETE and her husband, Kenneth, celebrated
their 64th Wedding Anniversary on August 27th, 2000.

Harriet
Clevette Goodwin '41 ETE writes that she is sorry to be unable
to come to Homecoming. She has just purchased a condo in North Conway,
New Hampshire.
Kathleen
Boone Grant '42 ETE writes, "I miss all the Husson College
Alumni and friends and extend my love to all of you." Kay resides
in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.
Eleanor
Sargent RN '46 EMGH will be traveling to Romania on a medical
mission in March under the auspices of Feed the Children. This is her
first trip to Romania, but her fourteenth such medical mission. Eleanor
was the recipient of the Excellence in Nursing Award at Husson in 1999.
Shirley
Klimavicz Richard '48 '55 ETE was reelected to the Maine State
House of Representatives from Madison.
Geneva
Somers Allen '49 ETE and her husband, Carroll, celebrated their
50th wedding anniversary on July 22, 2000 with an open house held by their
children at the Spectacular Events Center in Bangor. Carroll owned and
operated Allen Electrical Company for 37 years until he retired in 1997.
The couple are active members of Eastern Star, Kiwanis Club, the United
Methodist Church and the Hampden Pistol and Rifle Club.
Clyde
LeClair '49 was the unsuccessful candidate for District 96, the
east side of Augusta, for the Maine House of Representatives. Clyde entered
police service in 1957 and retired as chief of police in Falmouth in 1968.
He served as director of the State Animal Welfare Board from 1984 to 1991.
He has also been legislative liaison for the Maine Chiefs of Police Association.
Clyde resides in Augusta.

FIFTIES
Carol
Leighton Budden '53 writes that she and Lawrence are both retired
and still live in Greenville in the house they bought 40 years ago. They
have two grown sons, Edwin and Dale. Edwin is a Technical Sergeant in
the U.S. Air Force. The Buddens have visited him at many of his duty stations;
North Carolina, North Pole, Alaska, Germany, France, and Belgium. Some
of the highlights of their travel were to see the entrance of the Maginot
Line and to visit the graves of General Patten and over 5000 other Americans
who lost their lives in the World War II Battle of the Bulge. "As
parents of a career military man, we feel deeply about the affairs of
the world, especially after so many terrorist attacks. We feel very proud
of our armed forces everywhere." Their other son Dale resides in
Greenville in a home which he built himself.
Ben
Blodget '56 MEX and his wife Jeannette "boarded a container
freighter, the Melbourne Star, in Savannah, Georgia and made the round
trip voyage to Australia and New Zealand. A supply stop at Pitcairn Island
each way was a highlight of the voyage. Six to eight passengers on various
trips between ports added to the enjoyment. I operated my radio as W1VEH
Maritime Mobile and kept in daily contact with fellow ham radio operators
on the East Coast. Packing our bags and walking down the gangplank after
74 days was really sad. This is the way to go for anyone who likes the
sea and the informality of a working ship without the frills. Any readers

Loren
Ritchie '57 MEX is retired and living in Greenville. In his usual
shy, quiet way he sends the following message to his classmates, "Let
there be NO National Park in Greenville!! Send RESTORE back where it came
from."
Robert
'Bob' Cimbollek '59 KDF announced his retirement as boy's basketball
coach and athletic director at John Bapst High School in August 2000.
Bob's career was remarkable. His teams won five state championships, six
Eastern Maine Championships and earned an overall record of 446-161. He
served as athletic director, basketball coach, basketball official and
physical education teacher at Fort Fairfield, Orono, Bangor and John Bapst.
Bob also authored two books, "Basketball's Percentage Offense"
in 1972 and "Basketball Simplified and Scientific Methods Manual
for Improving Perimeter Shooting Percentages" in 1988. Bob scored
more than 1000 points in his Husson career on Coach Del Merrill's teams.
Bob and his wife, Judy (Murphy) '59 ETE reside in Bangor.
Shirley
MacDonald Hamlin '59 '83 MSB was one of six Maine residents chosen
by Maine Public Broadcasting System for its new "Road Diaries"
show to be aired in December. She and the others will make several tours
in Maine and write journals of their impressions. Shirley is partially
retired and works part time as an accountant for Moody's Diner in Waldoboro.
She and her husband Greg reside in Thomaston.

Frank
Morong '61 has been named branch manager of Bangor Savings Bank's
new financial services center in Camden/ Rockport. He is a graduate of
the Northern New England School of Banking, the Williams School of Banking
and the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He has served in the banking
industry for 34 years. Frank resides in Camden.
Ed
Youngblood '61 KDF was elected to the Maine State Senate, District
6 with an impressive win over his incumbent Democratic opponent, Senator
Richard Ruhlin. Ed is a Senior Vice President with Bangor Savings Bank.
Ed and his wife Peggy Jo (Brewer) '64 DSD reside in Brewer.
Margaret
Bradford Patzner '62 writes that she has retired as a Human Resources
Analyst for the city of Sunnyvale, California. She recently moved to Reno,
Nevada.
Anne
Roberts Spencer '63,'83 & '90 MSB has just completed serving
as State President of the Business and Professional Women's Organization
for Maine. During her presidency she attended the National Conference
in Rochester N.Y., the Policy and Action Conference and Interim Board
in Washington, D.C., and presided over the Fall and Spring Board meetings
in Maine and the State Convention in June. "At the convention our
member of the year was selected. She is Sheila Bell Currie '86 KL. Sheila
will represent Maine at the National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota
in July." Anne currently works at the Bangor Law Offices of Gross,
Minsky as their bookkeeper. She and her husband Del reside in Bangor.
Her youngest son Sean Steinmetz is in the U.S. Army in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
Jacqueline
Emerson '64 writes, "Let's begin making plans now for our
40th reunion in 2004." Jackie is a substitute teacher and custodian
in Corinna.
Dennis
J. McLellan '66 made an unsuccessful bid for State Representative
from District 103 Oakland against Republican incumbent Robert Nutting.
Dennis has served four terms on the Oakland Town Council, two terms on
the SAD 47 Board of Directors and on the Town Budget and Advisory Board.
Dennis is currently an inside sales representative for the Sappi Paper
Mill. Dennis and his wife, Judith, have two children, Robert and Jeffery.
They reside in Oakland.
Dale
Macomber '68 writes that he "retired from the Federal Government
in March of 1999. He has accepted a position with the Vermont Department
of Taxes as supervisor of Personal Income and Corporate Taxes." Dale
and Susan have two daughters, Deborah who resides in Richmond, Vermont
with her husband, Mark Shepard and Beth who is a resident in pediatrics
at MVSC in Charleston, South Carolina.
Raymond
Mailhot '68 TEP has been named to the board of Kennebec Savings
Bank. Raymond and his wife, Diane, have owned and operated the Schooners
Inn in Kennebunkport since 1982. He has been an entrepreneur in the hotel
business for over 30 years.
Robert
J. Parker '68 has been elected trustee to the First Radio Parish
Church of America board. Bob is a CPA who specializes in small business
and individual clients for the preparation of taxes and estate planning.
The First Radio Parish Church of America broadcasts daily devotional messages
on radio and television stations in Maine and on the Internet.

Shawn
Lewin CLU '70 KDF is a long term care Insurance planning specialist.
Shawn lives in Bangor, and serves on the Husson College Alumni Association
Board.
Doug
Curtis '71 MEX has been named Advertising Sales Manager for the
Maine Business Monthly Group of Newspapers. Doug resides in Auburn and
maintains an office in Rockland.
Jolene
T. Greeley '71 ETE writes that she has moved to Chandler, Arizona.
"I am enjoying the sunshine after 10 years in the West Seattle area."
Hazel
Smith Hutchinson '71 has recently co-authored a book of poetry,
"Plain Spoken" with five other women. Hazel lives in Salinas,
Kansas.
Bob
Leavitt '71 writes, "I have four daughters and six granddaughters.
That's ten girls in a row (without a boy). Can anyone top this? There's
no question that my Husson experience has helped me tremendously. I owe
it all to Del Merrill because without his prodding I would never have
gone to college period. Thanks Del!"
Stephen
R. Leavitt '71 has been in the insurance business in Bangor since
1978. He started as an agent for Equitable Life (whom he still represents)
but has broadened his practice over the years with his small one-man agency
called the Leavitt Agency. Stephen has earned the following professional
designations: CLU, ChFC (from the American College) and LUTCF. He has
earned the National Quality Award for 20 consecutive years. Stephen resides
in Bangor with his wife Gail. He has three grown children. He is very
active in his church and serves as an elder.
Michael
Foster '72 has joined the staff of Calais Federal as a Vice President.
Mike spent 27 years with Whirlpool Financial Corporation and Transamerica
Corporation with management assignments in Maine, Massachusetts, Texas,
Delaware, and New Jersey. Mike and Lynda live in Calais and have two grown
children, Marikay and Jonathan who both live in Medford, New Jersey.
Paul
Roberts '73 was reelected to the Yarmouth Town Council. He will
serve as Chairman. Paul is self-employed and serves as vice president
of PKR Associates, a security company in Yarmouth.
Susan
Wrzosek '76 recalls "under the work study program at Husson
in 1974-76, I worked in the financial aid office. Last year, I took a
job at Yale University's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences as a Financial
Aid Officer. I owe a lot of my success to Bob O'Donnell '72 MSB '82 (Husson
financial aid director 1972-78) who relieved me of my financial worries.
I would like to thank Bob for everything he did for me and let him know
"Rosebud" is following in his footsteps." This May, after
27 years, Susan will graduate with a Bachelors degree in independent studies,
with concentrations in management, marketing, and performing arts from
Charter Oak State College. When she's not working or attending class,
she performs at various theaters in Connecticut.
Senator
Philip E. Harriman, CLU '77 TKE steps down as the Republican
Senator from District 23 (Yarmouth, Freeport, Brunswick) after eight year's
of service. Phil was unable to run for reelection because of the term
limits imposed by Maine voters. Phil was recently appointed to the Husson
College Board of Trustees.
John
M. Rohman '77 was elected Mayor of the City of Bangor. John is
president and chief executive officer at WBRC Architects of Bangor.
Frank
Soares '77 MSB '91 was appointed by President Clinton to serve
as a member of the National Veterans Business Development Corporation.
He has served since 1995 as the state director of the Bureau of Veterans
Service of the Maine Department of Defense, Veterans and Emergency Management.
Frank was selected as the 1999 Maine Small Business Administration Veterans
Advocate of the Year. He served in the U.S. Army and the Maine Army National
Guard and has received the Legion of Merit and two awards for valor in
combat in Vietnam. Frank resides in Freedom.
Vasilike
"Kiki" Katsiaficas Sawyer '78 was elected to serve
on the Ellsworth School Committee. Kiki is office manager and real estate
broker at Katsiaficas Real Estate and Insurance. Kiki and her husband,
T.J. (Tom) '79, and children, Nicholas, Anna, and Thomas, reside in Ellsworth.
Bertrand
Boucher '79 has been promoted to vice president at Peoples Heritage
Bank. He will continue to manage daily operations in the Fort Kent and
Eagle Lake branches in his role as business development and sales manager.
Bert joined Peoples Heritage Bank in 1999 and has 22 years of service
in banking at four other banking institutions. He is a volunteer coach
for the Fort Kent Recreation Department and is past president of the Fort
Kent Golf Club and a former director of Rotary Club.
Robert
Ronan '79 CPA CFA has been promoted to Senior Vice President
of FIRSCO's Systems Division at Fidelity Investments. Bob is moving from
his role as head of Systems Development where he worked for the past two
years. He joined Fidelity in 1995 as the Vice President of Technology
and Finance for Fidelity Asset Services Group, a Fidelity start-up company
which provided global clearing, settlement, and custody services to other
Fidelity organizations and outside clients. Prior to joining Fidelity,
Bob was Vice President Systems Development for Wellington Management Company.
After graduating from Husson, he earned an MBA from Carnegie-Mellon University.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Certified Public Accountant
(CPA). Bob is the son of the late Robert Ronan '62, former faculty member
in the Accounting Department at Husson in the late 1960s. He and his family
reside in Hopkington, Massachusetts.
Michael
Thibodeau '79 has been promoted to vice president of human resources
at Maine Public Service Company. He will be responsible for all human
resources activities including payroll, benefit plans, personnel policy,
labor relations, safety and environmental compliance, as well as training
and insurance risk management. Mike is a member of Presque Isle Rotary,
a member and past president of Northeast Society for Human Resource Management,
past treasurer and director of the Homeless Shelter and a member of St.
Mary's Catholic Church. He resides in Presque Isle with his wife, Cindy,
and two daughters, Emily and Carolina.

Carlena
Bean '80 was presented the Dirigo Award by the Finance Authority
of Maine at their annual dinner meeting on November 9, 2000 at the Holiday
Inn by the Bay in Portland. The citation is as follows: "Whether
it is assistance in the admissions process or guidance in the financial
aid process, admissions professionals are integral to the ability of thousands
of students to pursue higher education. Providing assistance to students
and families in Maine is where Carlena Bean, associate director of Admissions
at Husson College, is setting a new standard. She is noted for her dedication
to helping students and families through a process that can sometimes
be overwhelming." Carlena and her husband, Kendall, live in Corinth
and are the parents of Ronald Bean '92 TKE. Ronald is married to Susan
Burr Bean '91.
Louise
O'Donnell Cheek '80 KL has been awarded the Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice
Papal Medal from his Holiness Pope John Paul II for her well-known and
dedicated service to the Catholic Church. Louise serves as director of
the religious education for Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in
Mill Valley, California, a position she has held for six years. The presentation
of the medal and insignia was awarded at a special ceremony at St. Mary's
Cathedral in San Francisco on September 17, 2000. Louise lives with her
three children in Mill Valley.
Gregory
Galanek '81 writes, "I will be graduating in May 2001 with
a JD degree from Western New England College of Law in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Richard
J. Hermida '81 writes, that he and "Cynthia (Wisser) have
been married twenty years and have three children, Jesse 24, Richard 16,
and Jenna 10. Since graduating from Husson, I earned my MBA and worked
as a Senior Auditor, Acting Inspector General and Financial Analyst. I
am currently working on my Ph.D. My present position takes me all over
the states, and I have been fortunate to visit Italy, South America, Asia
and the Virgin Islands. Give my best to Warren Caruso and tell him I have
a basketball player I may send in the near future (Richard Jr. is a junior
in high school and lettered in basketball, track, and cross country).
Also, say hello to Pam Hennessey and Dewey Martin." Richard and Cyndi
and family reside in Knightstown, Indiana.

Zinck '81 was recently appointed director of national accounts
by the Chinet Company of Waterville. He will be responsible for growing
the company's national sales accounts in the food service business unit,
which produces Chinet products for the food service industry. John's career
includes two years as territory manager for Campbell Soup Company and
13 years at General Mills, Inc., culminating in the position of national
sales manager. He also served as vice president of sales and marketing
for Schwan's Foodservice, Marshall, Minnesota. John and his wife Marie
and sons, Nick and Justin, live in Waterville.
Dan
Hutchins '83 TKE was named to the Board of Directors of the Maine
State Chamber of Commerce. He is managing partner of Pricewaterhouse Coopers
in Portland. Dan will serve as treasurer of the Board.
Siamak
"Sam" Khairi '83 writes that he is Site Director for
CompUsa National Call Center in Marlboro, Massachusetts. He supervises
"about 300 employees in various positions and his main function is
to provide technical and customer service support for our clients nation
wide." Sam lives in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
Father
Andrew Dubois '84 TEP was named pastor of Holy Family Parish
in Lewiston. Father Andrew was appointed parochial vicar of SS Peter and
Paul Parish in Lewiston in 1995. On June 10, 1996, he became parochial
vicar of St. Patrick's Parish in Lewiston.
Peter
Husson '84 MEX and his wife, Teresa, are pleased to announce
the birth of their daughter, Allison Raye, born September 3, 2000. Peter
and Theresa and their children, Amanda, Alexander and Allison live in
Twin Mountains, New Hampshire.
Ken
Topel '84 has joined Martin's Point Health Care as the Director
of Information Services. He is responsible for managing applications,
including hardware and software, that support the business operations
at Martin's Point, Maine's largest primary care practice. Ken has more
than 20 years experience in the information systems field, and most recently
served as project manager at UNUM Provident. Ken is a resident of Windham
and is a former member of the Windham School Board and is involved in
youth soccer as a coach.
Doug
Mitchell '85 MEX has joined Maine Public Broadcasting as a controller.
Before joining MPBC, Doug worked as a corporate tax preparer and auditor
for the CPA firm Barry, Fowles & Co. in Falmouth.
Craig
D. Worcester '85 TEP has been named Vice President of Financial
Services by the Union Trust Company of Ellsworth. He will help develop
Union Trust's entry into the brokerage and insurance industries. Craig
has extensive experience in insurance, business planning, financial planning,
investment and trusts. He holds several professional licenses in securities
and insurances. Craig is a founding member and past President of the Maine
Planned Giving Council and is a member of the Chesley Husson Society.
He has worked closely with the Husson College Planned Giving Program.
Craig and his wife Sally and three sons live in Bangor.
Kimberly
Bakeman Clark '86 has been named accounting manager and will
be elected treasurer of Ellsworth American, Inc. Kimberly joined The American
early in 1987 in accounts receivable. Three years later, she was named
head accountant. She and her husband, Daryl, reside in Franklin.
Sheila
Bell Currie '86 KL and her husband, Noel, are pleased to announce
the birth of their daughter, Libbee Mae on June 25, 2000. Sheila and her
family reside in Presque Isle.
Mark
Ellis '86 TEP writes that he "recently left my position
with The Chinet Company as Director-Corporate Information Technology to
start my own consulting group, Webini Consulting LLC. We specialize in
Internet Marketing and corporate Internet strategy. My wife, Tammy, and
I have been married for 14 years and have a 10-year-old son, Matthew.
We recently built a house in Topsham."
Tetsuro
Kosaka '86 MSB and Chika Teraoka were married July 23, 2000 at
the Hotel Intercontinental Tokyo Bay. Tetsuro is with Bowne Global Solutions
Japan, Inc. and Chika recently resigned from Ho-Yokado, one of the largest
supermarkets in Japan. Guests included Yuki Takahashi '86, Tatsuhiko Omata
'86, Naohiko Takeuchi '85, Shizuo Kashima CPA 'ICLS, and Yasunobu Kenmochi
'ICLS. The Kosakas reside in Toyko, Japan.
Don
Roberts '86 was named the top teaching pro in Maine by Golf Digest
Magazine. Don is the head pro at Waterville Country Club. The Golf Digest
ballot was sent to more than 1000 golf instructors around the country.
They were asked to rate all their instructors in their area and to nominate
the best teachers in the nation.
Rick
Amero '89 TKE has resigned from his position as varsity coach
of Monmouth High School girl's varsity team. Rick took the Monmouth girls
to three straight Western D titles in 1998, 1999, and 2000. Rick and Wendy
have a two-year-old son and a one-year-old daughter with whom he wants
to be able to spend more time. Rick and his family reside in North Monmouth.
Merrill
Barter CPA '89 KDF has been elected to the board of directors
of Regional Transportation Program (RTP), a United Way Agency that provides
door-to-door transportation in towns throughout Cumberland County. Merrill
is the tax manager at Baker, Newman & Noyes, LLC, in Portland. He
serves as a board member for the Iris Network. Merrill lives in Portland.
Saundra
Pelletier Childs '89 '91 DSD writes that she and her husband,
Jonathan, were married May 27, 2000 in Bermuda. "The guests spent
four days together before we left for the honeymoon. My husband is from
Atlanta, Georgia and is a proper southern gentleman." Saundra is
Vice President of Women First Healthcare, Inc. Pharmaceutical Division.
In her new position in the company, she assumes full P&L responsibility
for Pharmaceutical Operations and Marketing. The division markets estrogen
replacement and cholesterol prescription products. "Ms. Childs has
an exceptional track record of successes in the women's healthcare field,
and her approach to business is dynamic, motivational and creative,"
said Edward F. Calesa, President and CEO of Women First Healthcare, Inc.
"Her professional accomplishments have included the heralded launch
of oral contraceptives in Japan and the orchestration of a Woman's Quality
of Life Assessment Partnership between Oxford and Harvard Universities.
As Searle Laboratories' youngest Global Women's Health Franchise Leader,
she spearheaded the planning and execution of several product launches,
dramatically increasing growth rates and revenues across all product lines.
Throughout her career, she has consistently accelerated and exceeded sales
goals." Saundra and Jonathan reside in San Diego, California.
Wendy
Eaton '89 writes, "Thought I would send a brief update on
both myself and my grandfather, Frank Winchenbach '25.
Since Gramp attended and participated in the 100th Husson Graduation (which
he thoroughly enjoyed), he has undergone surgery for colon cancer and
was in and out of the hospital and nursing homes several times. He has
been home since April and is doing quite well at age 94. I have been working
since I graduated in 1989 as a Medical Assistant for an internist in Rockport,
who recently retired. I am now working for a local family practice doctor."
John
Shaw '89 was recognized as the most valuable pitcher in the Portland
based Twilight Baseball League. John, 34, pitched for the Mortgage Network
team, which won both the regular season and playoff championships. John
pitched three years at Husson College under Coach Red Wilson before transferring
to UMO where he pitched for the Maine Black Bears.
Cynthia
Stone '89 and James Penney were married June 17, 2000 in Brewer.
Cynthia is employed at Community Health and Counseling Services in Bangor.
James is employed at Howard Tool Co. in Bangor. The couple resides in
Milo.
Jennifer
Birch Thibodeau '89 ETE writes that "I am alive and well
in Southern Maine and recently gave birth to a son, Evan Patrick Thibodeau.
His parents, David and I, were married in Las Vegas in the spring of '99
(it was planned, not a spur-of-the moment Vegas thing!) and found out
on New Year's Eve that we were expecting a baby in 2000. Life has been
a roller coaster ride ever since. We reside in South Berwick, where I
am employed at Daylight Software in Dover, New Hampshire. I'd love to
hear from fellow ETE sisters and Husson friends. Hope all is well at Husson.
I have many fond memories of my time there and look forward to receiving

Richard
Tracy '89 '91 has been hired by IREX as its American Regional
Director for the Caucasus. IREX is a US based international nonprofit
organization that administers educational exchange and professional training
programs between the United States and the countries of Eastern Europe,
the New Independent States, Asia and the Near East. Richard will be working
directly with IREX local staff in Erevan, Armenia; Baku; Azerbaijan and
Tibilisi, Georgia. He has had five years of experience with Mercy Corps
International and with the Peace Corps.
Angela
"Maria" Zelaya '89 ETE writes from Miami, "When
I remember the times at Husson a big smile comes to my face. I had such
a wonderful time; meeting people, learning from them, different places,
the snow, joining a sorority. I learned so many things. For me, Husson
times are unforgettable times."

Robin
Price Cote '90 KL and husband, Rod and four year old daughter
Rochelle are pleased to announce the birth of their son, Reid William,
born June 29, 2000.
Ozgur
Yilmaz '90 has been promoted to president of M.Y. Fund trading
on the Istanbul, Turkey Stock Exchange. He also serves on the board of
Atlantis, a closed-end fund trading on the Istanbul Exchange and on the
board of a brokerage firm named Ulus Securities.
Heather
Brountas '91 is with Barnese Financial Inc., in Bangor. She is
a financial representative and will provide client insurance and financial
services at the new office, serving customers in central and southern
Maine. Prior to joining Barnese, Heather was a financial administrator
for Albrecht Financial Services.
John
F. McCarty, Jr. '97 and Amy Hamlin '98 were
married August 21, 1999 in Manchester, New Hampshire. John is the office
manager of the family business. He recently accepted a position as an
athletic director and coach of Pembroke (New Hampshire) Academy High School.
Amy is employed as a registered nurse at Concord Hospital. "Together
they wish Husson baseball success in the years to come."
Donetta
Fuller KL '91 and Jaret Morse will be married in September 2000
and honeymoon in Hawaii. They currently reside in Clifton Park, New York.
Carol
Snowdeal ETE '91 writes, "in May 2001, I will be receiving
a Master's in social work from the University of Maine. I have been employed
with CHCS for 9 years. The first seven years I worked one-on-one with
behaviorally challenged children and the last two years as an adult mobile
crisis counselor. I reside in Bangor, Maine."

Amanda is a phlebotomist at Maine General Medical Center. Mark is a warrant
officer in the Maine Army National Guard. The couple plan a September
30 wedding.

in Portland and is Vice President of Business Development at NFI Interactive,

Lee Clark '92 and husband, Steven Clark '92,
are pleased to announce the birth of their second child, Kelci Meagan,
on July 12, 2000. Anita is employed at Bangor Savings Bank; Steve is a
partner at Williams and Associates in Bangor. Anita, Steve, Kayla and
Kelci live in Levant.

Lindsay Huston '93 DSD and her husband, Timothy are pleased to
announce the birth of their daughter, Lindsay Lea Huston born September
26, 2000. Michelle, Tim, Joshua and Lindsay reside in Lisbon Falls.
Joyce
Bried Ingrisano '93 has been named pastor of the Milbridge Congregational
Church. After graduation from Husson, Joyce earned her Master's of Divinity
at Bangor Theological Seminary graduating in May 2000. She was ordained
into the ministry in December of 2000.Joyce and her husband, Lou, a physician's
assistant, have three children; Mark 23, Tanya, and Matt 21, and one grandchild.
They make their home in Somesville.
Steve
Lauto '93 writes that he is engaged to be married in June of
2001. He is teaching business in New Jersey and his fiancée, Alison,
teaches Honors English and coaches Field Hockey and Softball.
Michael
A. Luciano '93 has been named director of human resources at
Madison Paper Industries. Prior to joining Madison, Mike was assistant
vice president of Franklin Memorial Hospital. He serves as board chairman
of the Greater Franklin Development Corp. He has done postgraduate studies
at Cornell and Thomas, and is currently enrolled in the Master of Science
in Business program at Husson. He has been active in civic organizations
and was recently appointed as a board member of Maine Emergency Medical
Services by Governor Angus King. Michael and his wife, Susanne, reside
in Jay. They have two sons, Scott and Bryan.

Clark Moholland '93 and husband, Robert, are pleased to announce
the birth of their second child, Robert Edward, Jr., on May 20, 2000.
Janet is employed by Eastern Maine Electric Corp. in Calais. Janet, Rob,
Felicia, and Bobby live in Charlotte.

Swiderek CPA '93 has been appointed to assistant vice president
in the Finance Department at Banknorth Group, Inc. of Portland. He will
continue to be responsible for corporate income tax preparation.

Veilleux '93 MSB RNC, vice president of nursing at Maine Coast
Memorial Hospital, has received the Leadership Achievement Award from
the Organization of Maine Nurse Executives, Nursing Leaders of Maine (OMNE).
This award recognizes Kathy's role in promoting nursing leadership and
enhancing patient care. Kathy and her husband, Henry, operate the Berry
Cove House Bed and Breakfast in Lamoine.

Baba '94 and Hiroshi Shigematsu were married at St. Paul's Church
in Rome, Italy on January 3, 2000. The couple resides in Tokyo, Japan.

Deschene '94 and Chad Herscheck were married October 14, 2000
in Veazie. Jennifer is employed by Weston Associates of Bangor. Chad is
employed by Arbortech Landscaping, Co. The couple resides in Bangor.

Graves '94 and Dominic Chiappone are engaged. The couple plans
a September wedding.
Nancy
Banffy Hock '94 writes, "After graduation, my boyfriend
(now husband) and I built a house in Kent, Connecticut that we still live
in. He is a land surveyor in the town of Kent. We were married on October
2, 1999. I recently applied and was accepted at the New Britain School
of Nurse Anesthesia in New Britain, Connecticut, and my program started
in May of 2000. I plan on graduating in October of 2002, God willing!!
I still work per diem at Danbury Hospital in the Post Anesthesia Care
Unit. After graduating, my husband and I plan on starting a family. I
do miss everyone at Husson, especially my nursing instructors who taught
me the fundamentals of nursing that allowed me to enter such a rigorous
course of study to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. I
thank them!!!"

Sheridan-Hulsey '94 DSD is an Institutional Neuroscience Representative
for Eli Lilly and Company. Her husband, Michael Hulsey '92 MEX, is a partner
at Hulsey and Smith CPA's. Sarah and Michael reside in South Portland
with their daughter, Kayla.

Adams RN '95 and Dennis Paul Poole were married August 19, 2000
in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Nichole is employed by Academy Manor, Andover,
Massachusetts. Dennis is employed by Brooks Automation in Chelmsford,
Massachusetts. The couple resides in Newmarket, New Hampshire.

Beaton III '95 received the Governor's Award for Environmental
Excellence from Governor Angus King on behalf of his employer ZF Lemforder
Corp of Brewer. ZF Lemforder has won the award for three consecutive years.
Rob is Human Resources Administrator, EMS Representative for the company's
Brewer operations.

Flaherty '95 MSB '98 CPA has been recognized by the Maine State
Board of Accountancy as a Certified Public Accountant. Tina is an accountant
with the firm of MacDonald, Page, Schatz, Fletcher & Company in Portland.

write that they have a 14-month-old daughter and are expecting their second

G. Johnston '95 MSB has been promoted to vice president by Maine
Mutual Fire Insurance Company's Board of Directors. Pamela is a Certified
Professional Insurance Women (CPIW) and has earned both the Associate
in Underwriting (AU) designation and the Chartered Property and Casualty
Underwriter (CPCU) designation. She serves as team leader for the Aroostook
Medical Center Annual Fund and is also a committee member of Maine Mutual
United Way Golf Tournament. She is also a member of the National Underwriting
Section of the Society of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters. Pamela
and her husband, Mike, reside in Caribou.
Motohiko
Kimura '95 was in to visit in October. He was participating as
a representative of his company, Elekta, at the October meeting of the
American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology in Boston. He
managed to have lunch with Charlotte Hanscom, Husson Dining Service, Samantha
Paine-Paradis '94, and Paul Husson and to spend the evening with
classmates, Mike Murphy '95, Matt Porter '95, and Mark Robinson
'95 in the short time that he was here.

by Eastern Maine Medical Center. Erik is employed by Springfield Terminal
Railway in Waterville. The couple plans an October 21 wedding.

Pritham RN '95 has been appointed manager of long-term care at
C.A. Dean Nursing Home in Greenville. Merrie is the granddaughter of Dr.
Fred Pritham, the legendary physician, who practiced medicine in the Greenville
area for 70 years. She lives in Greenville Junction.

Sinclair '95 MSB has been promoted to captain by the Cape Elizabeth
Police Department. He joined the department in 1985, became detective
in 1987 and was promoted to sergeant in 1991. He and his wife Cathy have
three children and live in Saco.

Lynn Waters '95 and David Joseph Higgins are engaged. Karen is
employed by Northeast Surgery. David is with General Electric. The couple
plans a July 29 wedding.
Troy
Bagley '96 TKE and Jennifer (Lawson) Bagley '96 ETE
were married June 8, 1996. Jennifer has been a successful RN for 5 years,
working at SVH Care at Home. She is currently in the process of starting
a medical-legal consulting business. She is a certified legal nurse consultant.
Troy is currently employed at Filene's in Bangor. They are planning to
start a family soon.

Beardsley '96 MSB and Michelle Dutremble were married October
8, 2000 in Scarborough, Maine. James is a First Lieutenant in the United
States Marine Corps serving in the Judge Advocate Corps. He is a graduate
of the University of Maine School of Law. Michelle is a graduate student
at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. James is the son of
Husson College President William Beardsley and Betsy Beardsley. He and
Michelle live in Sneads Ferry, North Carolina.

Cote '96 has joined N.H. Bragg in their Bangor office as Human
Resource and Safety Administrator. Allison resides in Bangor.

Moholland Ireland '96 recently received her teaching certificate
and is now teaching first and second grades at Enfield Station Elementary
School. Becky, Bub (Wayne Ireland '94) and daughter, Samantha, live in
Enfield.
Mary
Morris '96 MSB has been named administrative assistant for the
Town of East Millinocket. Mary was an instructor at EMTC in accounting
and economics and teaches other business courses at Katahdin Area Training
and Education Center in East Millinocket. She has also operated her own
business for May Kay Cosmetics. Mary and her husband, Tom, and their two
children, Matthew and Martina reside in East Millinocket.

Yoshimura '96 KDF and Sayoko Nakamura '94 were
married on April 1, 2000 in Takarazuka, Hyogo, Japan. Toshi writes that,
"we are enjoying our new life together with our 6 year old bassett
hound, Ruby. He is such a cute Maine boy. (We brought him back to Japan
with us)."

Ackley '97 writes that she has completed her Master's Degree
in Business Education at New Hampshire College. She is an Adjunct Faculty
member at York County Technical College and has taught at Andover College
and McIntosh College. Glena lives in Dayton, Maine.

1997 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dawn is a financial representative with the
Northwestern Mutual Financial Network in Bangor. Dawn and Richard reside

Tsuchie '97 '00 writes that he is working at AXA Investment Managers,
a French company, as information systems assistant. "The environment
surrounding me is good because I have to speak English about 70% of the
time even though I am based in Tokyo. My boss is Australian and I have
some difficulty with his accent - it is totally different from the U.S.
English. Hope to be at Husson for graduation."
Lisa
Lyons-Truman '97 writes that she and her husband, Thomas, are
expecting their first child in March. Lisa is a clinical nurse in the
Intensive Care Unit at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon,
New Hampshire, which is a level one trauma center. Lisa precepts new critical
care employees. She and her husband reside in Canaan, New Hampshire.

2000 in Brewer. Amy is employed by Eastern Maine Medical Center. Sean
is employed by Hannaford Bros., Old Town. Amy and Sean live in Brewer.

and "Affordable Housing Program Officer" by Princeton Properties
of Portland. Princeton Properties has over 5000 apartments in Maine, New
Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Florida. Susan is a member of the National
Association of Leasing Professionals (NALP).

Committee and resides in Machias with his wife, Nicole, and their children,

"Mick" Dyt '98 writes, "Since graduation, I have
become qualified as a Massage Therapist and am operating my own business
in Melbourne, Australia. I am studying for my diploma of Health Science
(Massage) in Melbourne and will be a Remedial Therapist in May 2001. I
am engaged to be married to Shelly Hyde, a girl I met at my first University
here in Australia. We plan to be married in May 2001. When people ask
me where I earned my degree, they are always interested in Bangor, Maine
and how I came to attend school 'way over there.' They also ask how I
was able to start a business as a Masseur. I tell them that if it were
not for the education I received at Husson, there is no chance that I
would consider running my own business. The teaching staff along with
the well planned academic program gave me the confidence and knowledge
to go out on my own. Thank you to all the staff and the students who helped
me through one of the toughest and most rewarding times of my life only
to come out on the other end a better person and student. Thank you all
very much."

Alexander-Landry '98 is working at St. Mary's Regional Medical
Center and lives in Oakland. She writes that she had a new baby in July
of 1998 and was widowed in July of 2000. Megan would love to hear from
her classmates.

Kokorin '99 MSB was in to visit this summer. He was employed
by Chase Manhattan Bank in March of 2000. His current responsibilities
include daily accounting, NAV calculations, trades processing and pricing
for several global mutual funds of the Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Funds
Family. Igor resides in Malden, Massachusetts.

Bennett-Catlow '00 MS Psychiatric Nursing was a candidate for
Maine House District 113, Bucksport and Orrington. She lost to the incumbent,
Republican Richard Rosen. Linda is employed by Acadia Hospital, Bangor
and is a member of the Board of Directors of Reach School in Bucksport.

Brockway '00 has joined Runyon Kersteen Ouellette, CPA's in Augusta
as a staff assistant.

M. Burlock '00 MSB has been named director of the Health Services
Department at Community Health and Counseling Services. She will join
CHCS' senior management as administrator of home health care in Penobscot,
Hancock, Washington, and Piscataquis counties. Helen is a member of the
Organization of Maine Nurse Executives, the Legislative Committee of the
Home Care Alliance of Maine, the Northeast Providers Group and the Bangor
City Nursing Facility Advisory Board. She is also a member of Sigma Beta
Delta and the National Honor Society. Helen is board certified in nursing
administration.

Cormier '00 MS PT has joined C.A. Dean Hospital in Greenville
as a physical therapist in the rehabilitation services department. Eric

were married October 14, 2000 in South Paris. Caroline is employed by
Waldo County General Hospital. The couple resides in Belfast.

McKinley '00 has joined the management team at CommTel. CommTel,
Community Service Communications, based in Winthrop with additional offices
in Portland, is the largest Internet service and data provider in Maine.
Susan comes to CommTel from her previous position at IDEXX Laboratories
where she served as executive assistant to the corporate counsel and human
resources director.
Brad
Olson '00 is playing professional basketball for CSL-Dijonnais
in Dijon, France. Brad averaged 17 points and eight rebounds per game
in his senior year at Husson. He shot 51 percent in his college career.

Richards '00 MS PT has received his Maine Physical Therapy License
and is employed by SmartCare in Dixfield. SmartCare provides a wide range
of Physical Therapy Services as well as ergonomics consulting and work
injury prevention programs.

Short '00 and Michael Fitzpatrick are engaged. They plan an April
wedding.

Jean Swallow '00 and Herbert Walter Lebreton '96 are engaged.
Kendra is employed by Orono Commons. Herbert is employed by Marshall Blum

Vernon '00 has been promoted to assistant vice president of Maine
Mutual Fire Insurance of Presque Isle. Timothy is also a graduate of the
Maine Criminal Justice Academy. He is a member of the advisory board of
the Presque Isle Recreation and Parks Association, past chairman of the
Presque Isle Planning Board, International Association of Arson Investigators,
past president of the Aroostook Adjuster's Association. He resides in
Presque Isle with his wife, Therese, and their children Andrew and Ryan.
