Appealing Financial Aid Awards

Sometimes a family's circumstances change after the initial application is made or we did not have complete information when we made the financial aid decision. We will make every effort to consider requests for reconsideration of our aid decisions based on economic changes and family changes in circumstance. Specific examples are loss of job, change of job, retirement, death of parent, increase in family size, increase in number in college, and separation of parents or student since the time of application.

If any of the above situations apply to your family, you or your parents may submit a letter of appeal to our office specifically stating that you are requesting a review of your file and the reason for the review. Please give specific information where applicable.
