PHYSICAL THERAPY CURRICULUM
New 3+3 DPT

Husson College Physical Therapy program is proud to announce the New 3+3 DPT. The first DPT class entered the program in Fall 2004. Our last class to graduate with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy will be in 2008.
Study during the first three years of the program is in the areas of the humanities and sciences. The fourth year of study is designed to provide a broad comprehensive base in specific areas of health related knowledge and concepts. After the successful completion of the first four years, Physical Therapy students are awarded a Baccalaureate degree in Kinesiology. During the fifth and sixth years, the focus is on professional studies, research and clinical practice. While a large percentage of our students complete their clinical placement in New England, a number of students have been given the opportunity to expand their educational experience in States and Provinces such as: Wisconsin, Florida, Ontario and Canadian Maritimes, North and South Carolina, Utah and Georgia. (For all Clinical Education information, you may contact Karen Morren, Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education, directly through her e-mail address: morrenk@husson.edu).
