ADMISSIONS
Pre-professional
Phase applicants:
Each student
is evaluated on an individual basis. Criteria guidelines include:
- Combined SAT scores of at
least 900
- High school average of 85
(3.0 GPA)
- Successful completion (B or
better) of courses in math, biology, and chemistry. Physics and a
strong background in trigonometry are also recommended.
- Two letters of
recommendation
- A completed essay, and
- A demonstrated interest in
Physical Therapy. One way to demonstrate this interest is by
volunteering in at least two different areas of physical therapy
practice for a total of 20 or more hours.
- All students currently
attending high school or university will be conditionally accepted
pending receipt of their final transcripts for the current academic
year.
Early application is
encouraged for the pre-professional phase. The College currently accepts approximately 50 students
into year one of the program. Applications are reviewed on a continual
basis. Early acceptance is
offered to applicants who meet all program requirements. Transfer students into year one or
two may choose to come in September or January. Please contact
admissions for an application.
Professional
Phase applicants:
To be considered for entry into year three, the professional
phase of the program, applicants must have:
- An undergraduate degree, or
PTA associate degree
- Successfully Completed core
requirements as listed in the Curriculum
section of our website. The number of positions available
for entry into year three will vary each year.
